Fish Tacos
Just to be clear, I don't actually prepare the fish in fish tacos. I buy frozen, wild-caught cod or halibut from Costco, then prepare the magic sauce to accompany the fish. I've tried breading and frying fish myself, but it's such a hassle and a lot of oil splatter and frankly just not worth it to me.
This recipe is for the sauce. You will love it.
Fish Taco Sauce
6 tablespoons sour cream
4 tablespoons olive oil mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon powdered garlic (not garlic salt)
1 teaspoon sriracha
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Done!
Fish taco suggestions:
corn or flour tortillas
shredded cabbage (or just buy the bag of coleslaw mix)
cilantro
sliced tomatoes
green onions
sliced avocados
shredded cheese
breaded (or not...your preference) wild-caught cod or halibut or other white fish, baked according to package directions
